LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. – A 34-foot Rinker took on water and submerged Thursday night near the 2MM of the Grand Glaize Arm.
TowBoatU.S. and Atlantis Dive responded to refloat the vessel and deployed booms and pads to mitigate a light sheen of fuel on the surface. The fuel release was reported to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
Once refloated, the Rinker was towed to the Moorings Yacht Club to be hauled out.
The cause of the sinking has not yet been determined.
