OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — A fire broke out at Lakewood Resort Saturday evening in Osage Beach.

Lakewood Resort sits on the west side of the Grand Glaize Bridge, and vehicles slowed on the bridge as travelers observed the blaze.

As of 8 p.m., the fire had not yet been fully extinguished; flames were still visible from vantage points nearby. The top floor appeared to be the most affected, and smoke poured from gaping holes in the roof.

Osage Beach FPD responded to the fire, with support from fireboats shooting water from the cove at the building.

No injuries have been reported. Several condominium units were destroyed in the blaze and adjacent buildings suffered damages.

Information about the cause of the fire has not yet been released.
